Our Pastor

Pastor R. Kevin Brown, Sr., a Baltimore native and retired police officer, has faithfully served in ministry for over two decades, currently as the pastor of Allen Chapel AME Church in Silver Spring, Maryland. He holds a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University and has pastored several churches within the AME denomination. Known for his servant leadership, community outreach, and dedication to kingdom work, Pastor Brown has also served in numerous civic and ministerial roles. He is married to Rev. Annette L. Brown and is most proud of being “born again.” an example that Jesus left us when He stated in the Gospel of Mark chapter 10, verse 45 that “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…”
